Cassondra (Casey) Cruikshank is a Biologist Specialist at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). A graduate of EKU in Wildlife Biology. Currently Casey is part of a team heading the KYTC Pollinator Initiative in an effort to increase pollinator habitat in Kentucky right-of-ways.
We are thrilled to learn more about Pollinator Area plantings along our Highways, how they started, how they are maintained and how they are faring, and what future plans may be for more. It would be interesting to learn how Kentucky compares with other states in that regard, too.
